Event Overview

The Atlantic INSPIRED Roundtable is an annual event that brings stakeholders together from across the Atlantic region and beyond to discuss COPD care, programming, and innovation within the Atlantic region. Providing an opportunity to share and learn from each teams’ successes, challenges and look to future opportunities.

The Atlantic INSPIRED Roundtable will consist of provincial and team updates from across the Atlantic region, guest speaker(s), breakout sessions, a roundtable discussion and networking opportunities.

*The event will be a hybrid event. For those unable to attend in-person a Zoom link will be provided.

Objectives

Our objective is to bring representatives from INSPIRED programs, COPD care teams, and other stakeholders together from across the Atlantic region and beyond to:

Discuss strengths, challenges, and opportunities as it relates to programs and supports.
Provincial updates on COPD programming and care.
Share innovation including technology, research, and best practices as it relates to COPD care.
Provide networking opportunities for stakeholders.

Roundtable Venue

The Atlantic INSPIRED Roundtable will be held at the Health Innovation Acceleration Centre on Wednesday November 20th, 2024. The Health Innovation Acceleration Centre is located at 66 Pippy Place, St. John’s NL, A1B 4H7.

*Please note, free parking is available on site.

Hotel Accommodation

JAG Hotel

Roundtable attendees will have an event rate at the JAG Hotel for $179 per night*.Reservations can be made by calling and referencing the LungNSPEI room block. *Taxes and fees not included. The room rate is valid until October 15, 2024

The Pre-Event Network Social will take place at the JAG Hotel in the Steele Salon on November 19th, 2024, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Getting There

To get to the Health Innovation Acceleration Centre from the JAG Hotel is approximately an 11-minute drive.

St. John’s International Airport (YYT) is 8.8km to the JAG Hotel and 10.5 km from the Health Innovation Acceleration Center.
